Well, were all back from the Vegas National. Aftershock had eight riders attend and we racked up some more points for the trophy standings. Everyone performed great and best of all there were no major injuries. 318 motos on saturday, can you believe that!!! There was the best competition and the races were fast. Now its time to work on getting ready for the Tuscon Nationals Aug 12-14. How all is going?

A brand new year of racing begins this weekend in Reno! Aftershock racing will have team meetings this weekend also. El Paso area riders will meet at Sun City BMX on Saturday January 9th, and Albuquerque area riders will meet at Duke City BMX on Sunday January 10th.

Sun city BMX is completing its rebuild. Check out the web site at www.suncitybmx.com for race times, location and updated information. New track operator Rick Guthrie has been working hard with help from local families in El Paso to get "The Fast Track" up an running soon. Sun City was closed for 2009 but is back in the original location of 650 Wallenburg, El Paso, Texas. Sun City BMX features a totally new track built with the help of the ABA. Congratulations Sun City and Aftershock Racing wishes you a great 2010.

Attention Riders! We have tentatively scheduled a Christmas party for Saturday December 5th 2009. We have not yet finalized the location or time but, we will notify all of you as soon as final plans are made. Please check your E-mail. Also, the team Management is announcing the formation of Aftershock BMX Racing INC. DBA, Aftershock Racing. We are now recognized by the Federal Government as a legal entity that is registered in the state of New Mexico as a not-for-profit corporation. We are also working on setting dates throughout the new year for team meetings, training camps and nationals. Please check the calendar at the bottom of the page for future events. The first annual aftershock golf scramble is about to begin. We have chosen the beautiful Desert Greens Golf Course to hold this event. This fundraising event will enable these athletes to travel and compete in the 2009 ABA Nationals. Lets all sign up as we begin our count down to this extraordinary fun day. New Mexico State Championship Weekend

Its time for the NM State championship weekend this weekend Sept. 19, 20 & 21. The races will be held at Duke City BMX track located at 1101 Buena Vista SE, Albuquerque, NM. The track is located just east of Isotopes ball park right off of Avenida Cesar Chavez.
Attention All Aftershock riders: keep a look out for a team pit bike area and there will be RV's parked outside the track for team riders and families.

2008 Fundraiser rider clinic

Thank you to all the participants of the 2008 Aftershock Fundraiser Clinic. We had a very successful clinic today at the Badlands BMX track. There were 15 riders who attended the clinic and all had a chance to work on their riding skills, learned about the ABA, received free bike tune ups and info regarding racing bikes. Also, a big thanks to Sun Bru factory & NAG #2 rider Janee Madrid for helping out with the clinic.

Aftershock Represents at NM State Fair Parade

Many of the Duke City Riders were in attendance at the parade. The parade route was 2.5 miles long and the crowds of people who lined the street of Central Ave. were entertained by the riders who had plenty of jumps and tricks for them.
