Happy New Year!

Aftershock racing wants to wish everyone a happy and safe new year! We are excited to start off the new year with a new look and are ready to kick off the new racing season. Please check back soon for rider updates. We will be announcing the new riders for 2009 and have all new uniforms by the Sooner Nats. Attention all BMX racers, if you want to know more about Aftershock racing and have an interest in racing for an established team please contact any of the board members for info. We want to hear from you and would like to learn more about any one interested in racing for us. Second Annual Bike-A-Thon

Thank you to all the participants and donations for the 2nd annual bike-A-thon. The riders made an approximately 10 mile ride in support of the team to help raise funds for the new year. We are almost at our goal for new uniforms. We would also like to welcome our newest sponsor Century plumbing and heat. Thank you for your support.

Rider Profiles & Fundraisers

Please send new pictures and 2008 accomplishments so we can have complete informantion. Other information needed is home track, years racing, favorite rider, favorite music and other hobbies or sports. Don't forget the 2nd annual Aftershock Bike-A-Thon is October 25. The team is rasing funds for new uniforms and we are almost at our goal. Our Saturday fundraiser was very successful and we will have another fundraiser November 1st. Please contact Adam Cuevas @ 917-1969 for more information on the November 1st fundraiser.

Aftershock welcomes new rider Ricky

Aftershock racing would like to welcome the newest rider to the team. Ricky Cervantez Joined the team September 13 and his home track is Badlands BMX in Los Lunas, NM. Ricky's class is 11 boys intermediate. Congratulations Ricky and welcome to the team!

New Mexico State Championship Weekend

Its time for the NM State championship weekend this weekend Sept. 19, 20 & 21. The races will be held at Duke City BMX track located at 1101 Buena Vista SE, Albuquerque, NM. The track is located just east of Isotopes ball park right off of Avenida Cesar Chavez.
Attention All Aftershock riders: keep a look out for a team pit bike area and there will be RV's parked outside the track for team riders and families.

2008 Fundraiser rider clinic

Thank you to all the participants of the 2008 Aftershock Fundraiser Clinic. We had a very successful clinic today at the Badlands BMX track. There were 15 riders who attended the clinic and all had a chance to work on their riding skills, learned about the ABA, received free bike tune ups and info regarding racing bikes. Also, a big thanks to Sun Bru factory & NAG #2 rider Janee Madrid for helping out with the clinic.

Aftershock Represents at NM State Fair Parade

Many of the Duke City Riders were in attendance at the parade. The parade route was 2.5 miles long and the crowds of people who lined the street of Central Ave. were entertained by the riders who had plenty of jumps and tricks for them.

Race Clinic Saturday, September 13, 2008

Aftershock Racing is holding a fundraiser rider clinic at the Badlands BMX Park in Los Lunas. This is a great opportunity for new riders to advance their skills and for experienced riders to tune theirs.
Unsure if you know how BMX all works, we will have a rep answering all questions to parents and riders.
Please come out and support your local club! Bring the family!!

Any one interrested in attending the State Fair Parade please see the Duke City link for more info. There was one Aftershock rider at the 4th of July parade in Rio Rancho and All the riders who attended had lots of fun. For more info about the State Fair Parade visit Duke city to sign up there is limited space for riders who want to be in the parade.
